I like the depth in your roses, Millie. I'm still trying to work out roses - it's hard to simplify their many tonal changes without ending up in a big muddle.
Hi Caroline, thank you so much for all your comments!!! Sometimes it takes a few versions before I get it right. The best method that works for me is to either take my glasses off, because I'm short sighted everything becomes a blur so you only see the tonal values and not the details, or squint. xxx
